100% Clean Energy States and the 100% Clean Energy Collaborative
Event Description

This Clean Energy States Alliance (CESA) webinar will provide an overview of the goals and activities that 14 states plus the District of Columbia have undertaken to achieve 100% clean electricity. David Hochschild of the California Energy Commission will discuss California’s 100% clean energy goal, how other states could benefit by adopting a similar goal, and what steps California has been taking towards achieving this goal. Alicia Barton of the New York State Energy Research & Development Authority (NYSERDA) will discuss the New York perspective on its 100% clean energy goal and describe the steps it has taken to implement it. Warren Leon of CESA will discuss other states’ clean energy goals and will describe the purpose of CESA’s new multi-state initiative, the 100% Clean Energy Collaborative. He will highlight activities the Collaborative will be undertaking in the coming months to support states’ 100% Clean Energy efforts. There will be opportunity for audience questions after the presentations.
