Event Description

This talk is an overview of how individuals and land owners can expand affordable housing options in the Mad River Valley through small scale affordable housing development. It will focus on local zoning regulations, potential funding streams, and programs which make it easier for individuals to create housing solutions in their own backyards.

      Kaziah is a Vermont based designer whose work explores community driven design processes, social wellbeing, and sustainability. She received her Masters in Architecture from the University of Texas, and has worked in the Field of Architecture, Planning and Development for over 15 years. She is currently a Project Manager with Downstreet Housing and Community Development, managing the design and construction of multi-family affordable housing.
