The U.S. Department of Energy's Better Buildings, Better Plants Summit will be held April 2-4  at the Capital Hilton in Washington, D.C. There are many different ways to participate in the U.S. Department of Energy’s Better Buildings Initiative. Through this program, more than 900 commercial, public, industrial, and residential organizations share their proven energy efficiency strategies and inspire others to tap into the continued potential for energy efficiency. 

Better Plants partners with leading manufacturers and water utilities to improve energy efficiency and competitiveness in the industrial sector. Through Better Plants, partners voluntarily set a specific goal, typically to reduce energy intensity by 25% over a 10-year period across all U.S. operations.
