Southface experts Mike Barcik and Joey Starr present key concepts and strategies around ventilation and indoor air quality (IAQ), including an overview of the science behind the strategies and emphasis on pollutant control.

This course consists of a video training, slide deck, and exam. Upon successful completion of this course, participants will receive a certificate of completion for CEUs from ICC, AIA, BPI, and RESNET.

  • The full video has a runtime of 1 hour, 10 minutes.

  • The full slide deck is provided in the Resources module.

  • The exam consists of 13 multiple choice questions.

Objectives:

After successful completion of this training and exam, participants will be able to:

  • Explain how ventilation fits into the hierarchy of Indoor Air Quality
  • Identify traditional methods of determining ventilation rates
  • Calculate ventilation rates based on the IRC and ASHRAE 62.2 approaches
  • Identify strategies for achieving fresh air

Certificate:

By completing/passing this course, you will attain the certificate Southface Certificate of Completion B
