Southface experts Mike Barcik and Joey Starr present fundamentals of moisture flow within a house. Topics include an overview of the science behind moisture flow, best practices for managing bulk moisture, and proper sheathing installation.

This course consists of a video training, slide deck, and exam. Upon successful completion of this course, participants will receive a certificate of completion for CEUs from ICC, AIA, and BPI.

  • The exam consists of 10 multiple choice questions

Upon successful completion of this course and exam, participants will be able to:

  • Define and identify best practices for controlling bulk moisture
  • Define and explain the role of psychometrics
  • Identify best practices for installing weather barriers and drainage retrofits
