The EPA Clean Power Plan is the nation’s first comprehensive effort to reduce carbon pollution from electric power plants—the single largest source of global warming pollution in the U.S. It’s a critical step forward in our efforts to tackle climate change and it gives us leverage on the international stage, while helping us modernize our century-old, inefficient electric power system.
