Mindful MATERIALS (mM) is growing. We are looking for a Market Development Coordinator to help broaden the reach and awareness of mM across the building industry to accelerate growth of the mM Library in order to meet collective industry need.

The ideal candidate understands the building industry, is passionate about healthy buildings, has a proven track record in sales and communications, sees projects through to quality completion, and has an innate talent for sparking and cultivating the intrinsic motivation of others toward shared goals.

The mM Market Development Coordinator works directly with mM Leadership, mM volunteers, and practitioners across the building industry, to drive accelerated growth of the mM Library. The Coordinator is responsible for supporting a range of activities across the mM Collaborative.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Plan and execute annual manufacturer sponsorship campaigns

  • Research and apply for relevant speaking engagements and exposure opportunities in various building industry sectors

  • Develop a volunteer network via established industry organizations in various cities

  • Manage mM Pavilion at Greenbuild

  • Support and manage mM communication (newsletter, eblasts) and resource development (engagement tools, website) in conjunction with Outreach Working Group

  • Support Outreach & Engagement Working Groups

  • Support and encourage newly engaged Library users as needed

  • Develop and monitor engagement metrics


Overall Responsibilities

  • Lead Manufacturer sponsorship initiative

  • Engage and cultivate volunteers for all working groups as necessary

  • Support Library growth through diverse sector engagement opportunities

  • Ensure tools are available to support consistent messaging for engaged manufacturers and practitioners throughout the mM Collaborative

  • Support planning and logistics for all industry events and engagement

  • Support new and engaged Library users
