Post Doctoral Fellow: Urban Planning or Design
The Harvard Center for Green Buildings and Cities seeks a motivated postdoctoral fellow with a Ph.D. in urban planning or design to conduct original research related to green cities in the spheres of ecology, economics, health or resource efficiency. Exploration of methodologies through change can be brought and focused on areas that are of pressing importance for society. Potential candidates should possess a strong background in the fields of design, city planning and data analysis. In addition to working closely with researchers, academic and city partners on research projects, the candidate is expected to actively participate in writing grant proposals.
The expected start date is September 1, 2015. The position is an annual (twelve-month) academic appointment with possible renewable, depending on continuing research funding and performance. Please submit cover letter and resume to cgbc@gsd.harvard.edu.
