Fresh Energy is hiring a full-time director to lead our Energy Performance team. The Energy Performance Program Director leads Fresh Energy’s work to create an efficient, high performing energy system in Minnesota by shaping policy solutions, driving change in multiple areas, and actively collaborating with a network of allies and partners. This position leads on overall energy conservation strategy and is responsible for a portfolio of work to secure efficiency-related policy change at the state legislature, in the regulatory arena, and in other key forums. The Energy Performance Program Director oversees Fresh Energy’s Buildings staff and is responsible for steering the strategic direction of the department leading the planning and execution of the policy area’s programs, projects, reporting, and stakeholder engagement. We are looking for someone who is a great writer with strong technical skills, event-planning expertise, and a commitment to driving effective communications and engagement strategy.
