There continues to be exciting collaboration around health and green building. This week at Greenbiz' VERGE Conference Flux, the Healthy Building Network, Google and Thinkstep launched the Quartz Project, a data initiative that helps building decisionmakers choose products with lower toxicity and lower impact. Quartz starts with a recognition that we spent much of our lives in buildings and yet know so little about what these buildings and materials are made of. In fact we do know that some of the chemicals used in buildings are dangerous for our health and contribute disproportionately to climate change. Rate It Green applauds efforts to make more information available to the green building community. To check out the Quarts Project database, visit: http://quartzproject.org/
