The Energy Department announced $102+ million in new projects and funding to support American leadership in clean energy innovation. In partnership with companies, non-profits, universities, and national laboratories, a top goal is to make solar energy more affordable and accessible across the nation.

-$7 Million to Improve the Reliability and Predictability of Solar Technology
-$32 Million to Break through Concentrating Solar Power Cost Barriers
-$13 Million to Cut Red Tape and Expand Solar Access
-$50 Million in Funding Potential to Foster Rapid Solar Innovation and Bringing New Technologies to the Market

That's great news! I think America will benefit a lot from this investment in the future. Even if Solar power may not be the perfect solution right now to the world’s energy crisis, it is a vital part of it.
