** Achieve Net Zero Cost Effectively - POSTPONED
Please stay tuned for details as they become available.
Energy Efficiency (EE) has always been “cost effective”. Renewable Energy (RE) is now “cost effective”. So why haven’t these really taken off? Beyond the technical components, the seminar attempts to examine the attitude changes required to truly support amplifying EE and RE efforts. Doing so brings society a step closer to devising successful solutions to address the climate challenge and the existential threat - and opportunity - it presents.
Participants will be challenged to imagine opportunities for approaching the climate challenge through solid economics. A wide range of foundational topics will be discussed, including:
- Policy Development for ensuring success
- Site Energy Master Planning - goal setting, prioritization
- Economics for energy efficiency and renewable energy
- Community scale opportunities
- Funding sources
- and more.
