250 Foot Tall Dorm at Cornell University Will be the Most Efficient Skyscraper Ever Built

Cornell University’s Tech campus, scheduled to be complete in 2017, is located on Roosevelt Island on the East River in New York. When complete the Tech campus will be an innovative and sustainable academic campus. The campus will not only house residents, but faculty and staff as well and include publicly accessible space. The dorm will be the tallest building on campus and will house 520 residents. What’s even more impressive is that the building will not aim for the LEED certification, but a much higher standard known as Passive House.
