Senior Project Manager, NY-Sun - Albany or NYC Office From the NYSERDA Site: The New York State Energy Research and Development Authority (NYSERDA) seeks a Senior Project Manager for the NY-Sun initiative who will be responsible for managing the portfolio of projects in the Commercial Industrial MW Block Incentive Program. The individual must be technically proficient, highly organized, detail-oriented, and have excellent communication and problem solving skills. The candidate must have experience in and understanding of the solar industry inclusive of: -Reviewing program applications and overseeing application review by other staff members and support contractors -Addressing solar developer questions and potential issues/problems -Tracking milestones and monitoring the progress of individual projects and the program portfolio as a whole, proactively identifying and addressing projects that are behind schedule or at risk for non-completion -Managing C/I MWB budget, developing regular reports and projections of funding commitments and expenditures -Contributing to Commercial Industrial MW Block and overall NY-Sun strategic planning and goal setting, refining goals and targets over time -Preparing for, organizing and contributing to stakeholder meetings -Maintaining familiarity with solar market generally and in New York specifically, recognizing trends and emerging opportunities or risks, making recommendations to program leadership -Working with communications to verify outgoing communication inclusive of press releases and inter-governmental agencies -Generating and verifying required NY-Sun reporting on a timely basis -Performing other tasks as assigned Individuals will be considered for Senior Project Manager based on qualifications and experience.
