Leader, Policy Development – NYSERDA, Albany Office (#338) The New York State Energy Research and Development Authority (NYSERDA) is seeking a creative, self-motivated and knowledgeable individual with research and analytical skills as well as developed communications and interpersonal skills to lead its Policy Development group. This position will report to the Director of Energy and Environmental Analysis. Energy and Environmental Analysis assists New York State energy policy decision-makers by (1) identifying and evaluating policy alternatives for addressing vital public needs; (2) quantitatively assessing the impact of energy, environmental and economic policies and programs on the State’s citizens, businesses and environment; and (3) helping foster informed energy planning through the quantitative and qualitative analysis of energy issues and policies.
