Mass Audubon and the University of Wisconsin are currently looking for environmental educators and organizations (both informal and formal) who work with High School students to join them in year 3 of their New England-wide NSF grant that aims to use digital learning and virtual internships to teach about urban planning and the relationship between social and ecological systems of cities.
- Land Science is a virtual internship for middle and high school students funded by the National Science Foundation and developed by the University of Wisconsin and Mass Audubon.
- Students take on the role of interns in a virtual urban planning firm where they are presented with complex, real-world STEM problems with no optimal solutions.
- Teachers have the opportunity to join the Land Science Educator Network (LSEN) - a unique group of formal and informal educators implementing Land Science in a variety of educational
