JOB DESCRIPTION TITLE: Living Product Challenge Coordinator STATUS: Regular, exempt position REPORTS TO: Manager, Living Product Challenge HOURS: Full-time STARTING SALARY: $40,000-$55,000 DOE plus extensive benefits package including health, vision, dental, and life insurance premiums paid at 100% for employees and dependents and 403(b) matching at 6%. LOCATION: Pittsburgh, PA BACKGROUND AND SCOPE The International Living Future Institute (ILFI) seeks a talented, high energy Living Product Challenge (LPC) Coordinator to join our staff. The LPC Coordinator will provide support for the LPC team on the growth and development of the Living Product Challenge and Declare program. The position will also provide materials consulting for Living Building Challenge teams and serve as a link between the Living Product Challenge and Living Building Challenge programs. The LPC Coordinator will also support the LPC manager in launching a new Living Future “Hub” in Pittsburgh and supporting the growth of all Living Future Programs in the Mid-Atlantic and Northeast Regions including the Living Building Challenge, Living Community Challenge, and the Living Future Network. The successful applicant must be a multitasking self-starter with an entrepreneurial spirit and passion for the ILFI mission, knowledge of green building, green manufacturing, and/or sustainable business with strong interpersonal and organizational skills. The position will be filled in Pittsburgh, PA and will involve periodic travel within the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic Regions – and occasionally beyond.
