Event Description

The annual IMPACT Conference is aleading event for sustainable development in the Midwest. Drawing hundreds of building professionals, the conference convenes the green building industry to transform the market and address pressing issues.

IMPACT 2024 will focus on solutions and scale. We will examine how we meet the urgent challenges of this moment, including the need for rapid decarbonization and an overhaul in our supply chain, and explore the role of the built environment in promoting the health of our communities.

Taking place over two days, April 30-May 1, IMPACT will include the option to attend one of two tours - either the SITES Certified Treetop Trail at the Minnesota Zoo or RBC Gateway, which is tracking LEED certification - a Women in Green Luncheon, a workshop on "Adaption and Resilience: Scalable Actions for Building to Communities," and a networking happy hour. The second day of the event will include inspiring keynotes and three simultaneous education tracks focused on "Solutions at Scale," "Decarbonization and Development," and "Green Building for All."

IMPACT 2024 is co-hosted by the communities in USGBC's West North Central and East North Central Regions, including USGBC Minnesota, USGBC Wisconsin, USGBC North Dakota, USGBC Nebraska Flatwater, USGBC Central Plains, USGBC Iowa, USGBC Detroit Region, USGBC Ohio, and USGBC Indiana.
