USGBC Public Policy Library

Do you ever find yourself wondering what policies are in place for Green Building across the nation?

The United States Green Building Council (USGBC) has recently released a resource to help with this research. It's difficult if even possible for most people and organizations to keep up with new and constantly changing policies, so this is a significant (and appreciated) commitment on the part of the USGBC.

With 723 federal, state, and local policies in place currently, there are likely policies in your area or one you are interested in! You may even discover a policy that can be used as a reference or inspiration if your community is pursuing green building policies as well. The website allows users to search by location, policy type, and also by the status of the policy (in force, pending, or elapsed/repealed). Browsing by location category isn't available yet, but if you are curious about a policy and also use their map tool, it can be quite easy to find the information you need.
