Description: Ideal for basements or concrete surfaces this 5/8” flooring has a 1/8” bamboo wear surface layer laminated to an 8-ply base. Installed by floating, cleats or gluing down Engineered bamboo floors are more resistant to the effects of moisture than solid woods making them contract and expand less recommended for extreme climates.
Environmental Characteristics: Bamboo is a rapidly renewable resource and grows to maturity in 5-7 years. At that time it can be harvested and will regrow without having to replant therefore causing very little soil runoff.
