Built Green is an environmentally-friendly, non-profit, residential building program of the Master Builders Association of King and Snohomish Counties, developed in partnership with King County, Snohomish County, and other agencies in Washington State. The website provides consumers with easy-to-understand rating systems, which quantify environmentally friendly building practices for remodeling and new home construction.

Introduced in 1995, Built Green Colorado was created through the joint efforts of the Home Builders Association of Metro Denver, The Governor's Office of Energy Management and Conservation, Xcel Energy, and E-Star Colorado. Built Green is the largest green building program in the nation. The organization has over 100 builder members across the state, 45 sponsor members, and 8 members of the "Built Green Industry Leaders" group.
