Welcome to our Individual Member Page.  This area is for people who want to know more about what Rate It Green offers and whether they may wish to register and become Community Members.  We will also post news and notes here about current site features and opportunities for Individual Members that may be helpful to current Members as well.

We are excited to work with you to expand the amount of information available to everyone in the green building community, and we're pleased that there are so many ways people can get involved with Rate It Green.  Here are a few top ideas:

• Registering and completing our Membership Survey
• Posting ratings/testimonials about products and services you have worked with 
• Asking and answering questions on our forums
• Tell your firneds about Rate It Green! 
• Share your expertise, and consider becoming a Rate It Green "LEAD"ing Member (moderating forums, answering member questions, etc.) 
• Send us suggestions and feedback any time

You are welcome to browse this site whether you join the community or not.  Here are a few thoughts on why it's a great idea to join Rate It Green!

• Full membership is free of charge. You complete a registration form and then the Rate It Green Membership Questionnaire.  Our membership survey is designed to capture information we believe will provide important research for understanding and expanding the green building market.  The information we collect through registering provides a resource for Rate It Green. It is our commitment to keep this site free of charge to members.
• Individual Members who have registered with Gate It Green can build Personal Profiles on Rate It Green and can decide how much of this informatoin to share with other RegIstered Community Members.
• Individual Members who have completed the Membership Survey are able to post ratings and reviews on Rate It Green and can share their expertise and experiences with others.
• Individual Members whjo have completed the membership Survey will also be able to post questions and answers in our Communications Center. 
• You control and create your Site Identity on Rate It Green.  You can decide on your screen name and a special User Tag to let others know a little more about you. 

About Rate It Green:

Rate It Green is an online community and information clearinghouse for everyone interested in the rapidly growing green building industry. This unique site features a green building product and services directory as well as an integrated, user-driven green ratings system. Members share information through product and service reviews as well as by asking and answering each other's questions. Rate It Green helps those who have "been there" and have experience to share with those who need information. The resulting dialogue and information sharing benefits member organizations and the industry at large.
