Insulate First

With the many programs available to the public from the stimulus package, it can be confusing on what to do first. The $1,500 Federal package is nice as it is actually money and not a reduction in income. In combination with local Utility programs, you can reduce the return on investment rather quickly. Unfortunately. there are many products that qualify for this money and insulation is often not considered as seriously as it should. The only reason I can surmise is that you cannot see it after it is installed and that's hard for some people to justify an expense.
