Free Webinar: Leveraging Nature-Based Solutions for Resilient and Regenerative Outcomes,
Event Description

Nature-based solutions involve designing with nature to address multiple societal challenges such as controlling flooding, cooling cities, and enhancing biodiversity. Biodiversity is critical to our wellbeing and survival, providing us with the necessary foundation for a wide range of benefits that sustain our economies, societies, and cultures.

This session will explore such topics as:

  • The connection between biodiversity loss and climate change, and how this relates to nature based solutions.

  • The potential of nature-based solutions to help businesses and communities be more resilient.

  • The role sustainability reporting can play in integrating nature into business decisions through initiatives such as the Taskforce on Nature-related Financial Disclosures (TNFD).

  • Certifications and frameworks such as the SITES rating system that promote nature-based solutions and can help communities and organizations plan, measure and visualize what conservation, regeneration, and restoration can look and perform like.
